The Brian Shields Memorial trophy is kept at the Clubrooms, 50 Phillip Street, Johnsonville, Wellington.
It was named after Brian Shields, who was a life member of North Wellington AFC.
Brian was the husband of fellow life member Therese Shields and the father of Paul, Brett and Grant Shields (all were former Premier team players, Grant was also elected as a life member of North Wellington AFC at the 2007 AGM).
