Prizegiving Trophies (Wally Griffiths Trophy - Player of the Year - Men's Social team)

The Wally Griffiths Trophy is awarded by North Wellington AFC to the Player of the Year of the Men's Social team (Capital Five team - 2008) each season.

The Wally Griffiths Trophy is kept at the Clubrooms, 50 Phillip Street, Johnsonville, Wellington.
It is named after Wally Griffiths, a former Committee member (1970's) of North Wellington AFC.
From 2004-06 it was awarded to the Mens Capital 7 team ("Irish Boys") who were new to the club in the 2004 season. This team was promoted to Capital 6 in the 2007 season and to Capital 5 in the 2008 season. They played back in Capital 6 in the 2009 season.
